  We charge $90.00 an hour for all of our services. Our minimum charge per project is 2 hours. Note that initial consultation to outline the project plan and determine an estimate is free of charge.
These guidelines provide a basic idea of what to expect. Writing: 250-500 words per hour, when all research material is provided. Substantive editing: 250-500 words per hour. Document requires a concept-based comprehensive edit and may need significant restructuring and rewriting. Copyediting: 500-1000 words per hour. Document requires a rules-based grammar and sentence-style edit and/or a plain language edit. Proofreading: 1000-1500 words per hour. Document requires a review of basic punctuation, grammar and spelling, as well as a format consistency edit (headings, spacing, fonts etc). Many factors influence estimates, including whether or not there is a requirement for research, creative concept design, in-person meetings or teleconferences in the planning stage, as well as how many reviewers are involved in approvals and how many revision cycles will be required to complete the work.
